"Killer in the Halloween Mask" is the Halloween episode of Hunter, originally aired on NBC as the fifth episode of the show's second season.
Synopsis[]
The Captain sends Hunter and McCall to serve as technical advisers for a television police show to keep them out of trouble. Unfortunately, the star of the show is killed, placing Hunter and McCall in the middle of another high-profile murder investigation.

Anchor Bay Entertainment first released the episode on the Hunter: The Complete Second Season DVD set, released on July 12, 2005. Mill Creek Entertainment re-released the second season containing the episode on May 18, 2010 and released the episode again on the Hunter: The Complete Series DVD set on July 27, 2010.
