Lottie Leigh (Rotti Rei in Japanese) is a character from the drama anime series, Princess Sara. She is the youngest student who attends Miss Minchin's Select Seminary for Young Ladies. She is closest to Sara and they have a mother-and-daughter-like relationship. At times, Lottie can be annoying whenever she has her tantrums, but Sara has managed to quell her mood.
About Lottie[]
Lottie is among the students who raises her hand when Miss Minchin asks the class just what tomorrow is, but Lottie sheepishly claims she forgot what the answer is. The other students are amused at this. Sara comes by and helps her out by quietly reminding her tomorrow is All Saint's Day. Lottie reveals that answer and after being told she's correct, Lottie winks at Sara while sticking out her tongue as Sara simply smiles. When Miss Minchin asks the class what today is, Ermengarde reveals it's Halloween. Lottie and the other girls prepare for the big Halloween party, and are excited. A tree is being decorated with paper apples and masks hung on the branches. As Lottie carries a large stick, Gertrude places various items on it. Gertrude tells her to keep still, but Lottie complains about how heavy it is. Gertrude complains that they'll never finish at the rate they're going.
Like the other girls, Lottie partakes in the party games that night after Sara and Becky bring back the supplies. But one of the games Lottie has trouble with is carving a face into her own pumpkin to make a Jack O'Lantern. After Sara asks her what's wrong and she's told, Sara offers Lottie to help with the carving as does Becky. When the party is over, Sara and Becky clean up before the former escorts Lottie upstairs to her bedroom.
Lottie is still up and with her lit Jack O'Lantern, she goes to the barn. Lavinia, Jessie, and Gertrude play a prank on Lottie by dressing up as ghosts and place Jack O'Lanterns on their heads. In the barn, Lottie comments on how she feels sorry for Sara and her doll, Emily, having to stay in there. The three, older girls make their move once Lottie is in there. When Lottie sees what she thinks are real ghosts before her, she gets so scared out of her mind, that she drops her Jack O'Lantern and flees the barn. The older girls are amused by this. But Lottie is unaware that she accidentally starts a fire when the lit candle within the Jack O'Lantern makes contact with the hay, setting the barn ablaze.
