Miss Maria Minchin is a character from the drama anime series, Princess Sara. She is the strict, cruel mistress of Miss Minchin's Select Seminary for Young Ladies and the older sister of Amelia, who is her subordinate.

In class, Miss Minchin asks the students what tomorrow is. After picking Lottie who raises her hand, then forgets when she attempts to answer, Sara, who stops by for a moment, quietly reminds her it's All Saint's Day. Once reminded, Lottie says what tomorrow is and Miss Minchin compliments her for the job well done. Then, Miss Minchin asks what today is, this time picking Ermengarde when she raises her hand. Ermangarde replies that today is Halloween and she is also complimented by Miss Minchin for the right answer. Miss Minchin announces that later they'll have a Halloween party and all the girls are thrilled about this. Then, Miss Minchin tells Sara and Becky to give a list of items, and supplies, that are needed for the party to James and Molly.
After Sara and Becky volunteered to go shopping for James and Molly, and return to the seminary, Miss Minchin tells her students she has put Miss Amelia in charge of them during the party and says not to have too much fun before leaving. Miss Minchin spends her Halloween relaxing in bed as she pours herself a glass of champagne.
