Nedward "Ned" Flanders is a character from the animated sitcom The Simpsons. He is the Simpson family's extremely religious next-door neighbor whom Homer detests. Ned is a genuinely well-meaning good-natured person, and is one of the few people in Springfield to whom that description applies.
