Patty is a character from the comic strip Peanuts, created by Charles M. Schulz. (She is not to be confused with Peppermint Patty, a different character from the same strip.) She was one of the first characters introduced in the strip, alongside Charlie Brown and Shermy. However, since she, like Shermy, lacked the discerning characteristics of later characters like Lucy, Linus, and Schroeder, she became a less prominent character as years went by, eventually disappearing from the strip in the 1970s.
