Porky Pig is an animated cartoon character from the Looney Tunes series of cartoons. Introduced in the 1935 short I Haven't Got a Hat, he is the longest recurring character in the series, and the animators (particularly Bob Clampett) created many critically acclaimed shorts starring the character. Even after he was supplanted by later characters such as Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny, Porky continued to be popular with moviegoers and, more importantly, the Warner Bros. cartoon directors, who recast him in numerous everyman and sidekick roles. He is known for his signature line at the end of each short, "Th-th-th-that's all folks!"

Appearances in Halloween specials[]

Porky's first role in a Halloween production was the theatrical short Corn on the Cop, which was also notably his last appearance in the original Looney Tunes shorts. In it, he and Daffy are cops in pursuit of a robber dressed as an old lady while at the same time, mistook Granny for the real robber. Due to the fact that it's Halloween night, Granny mistakes the two for Trick or Treaters.

In the TV special Bugs Bunny's Howl-oween Special, Porky's appearance mainly consists of reused footage from Scaredy Cat and Claws for Alarm with two new bits of dialogue made specifically for the special.

Porky's latest appearance in a Halloween production was the New Looney Tunes episode "Duck Duck Ghost".
