Sandra "Sandy" Jennifer Cheeks is a major character from the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. She is a very smart, talented, and athletic squirrel from the state of Texas, and one of SpongeBob's best friends. Being a squirrel, she lives in a giant air-filled dome known as the Treedome in Bikini Bottom and usually wears a diving suit with a helmet whenever she goes outside the dome.
