Soc is a character from the Irish, sports, comedy, animated series, Ballybraddan. His real name is Seamus and he is the twin brother of Aidan. Of the twins, he's interested in sports, particularly hurling, and he is the goalkeeper of his team. He and Aisling are each other's love interest.

Soc tells Solo and Sam a Halloween tale about the local legend of Mr. Hanratty supposedly being a werewolf. After his dad attempts to tell the story and Soc insists that others have already heard it, Solo and Sam insist that they haven't and would like to hear about it themselves. Soc's dad allows him to tell it since he seems to think that he can do any better. After the story is told, Soc's grandfather enters the kitchen carrying a turnip with a face carved into it. When Sam asks if that's supposed to be a pumpkin, Soc corrects her by saying, "turnip". Soc's granddad used a turnip to carve a face into that rather than the usual gourd as there were no pumpkins around the area where he lived.
On Halloween night, Soc and his friends are gathered in the garage of his, and Aidan's home, as they hear about the local, legendary lycanthrope. But Ziggy is convinced that it's got to be much more than just a legend, pointing out all the things about Mr. Hanratty that must make it true, since he's mentioned in the Legends of Ballybraddan book. Soc points out that he's not the only one mentioned. Ziggy asks about how many of them are allergic to mistletoe, since Mr. Hanratty seems to be the only one he and the others know of for sure. Everyone is interrupted after they suddenly hear the sound of howling coming from outside the garage. The garage door is then let up and the seemingly real werewolf appears. When Solo hands Ziggy some dipping eggs to fend off the werewolf believing that to be a weakness, Soc comments on that being good logic. After Ziggy attacks the werewolf with mistletoe and Solo continues throwing the eggs, the truth is revealed that it's not a real werewolf, but Mr. Hanratty wearing a werewolf mask and fake fangs. It seems that the whole thing was set up just in preparation for Ziggy to partake in the Halloween festivities.
At the Halloween party, Soc is dressed as a ghost and seen near a table with Jack O'Lanterns.
