"Trick or Treat" is the Halloween episode of Dora and Friends: Into the City (spun-off from Dora the Explorer), originally aired as the eighteenth episode of its first season.
Synopsis[]
Dora and the gang are taking children, including Dora's own brother and sister, trick or treating on Halloween. Isabella and Guillermo think they see a ghost, but Dora tells them to look closer. And they discover that it's not a ghost, but Pablo in a ghost costume. Soon, Emma shows up and she has a costume dilemma, she can't decide whether she wants to be something sweet or something scary. Kate tries to help by giving her a dog costume, but Emma still isn't sure. Soon, Dora's cat Lucky shows up and gets scared by Emma's costume.
Dora, Emma, and Kate follow Lucky all the way to an old mansion and are shocked and frightened when they see a ghost and a monster come out to greet them. However, the monster invites them inside, where there's a party going on. But, a witch, known as La Bruja, shows up and takes everything that has to do with Halloween, and Lucky, away because she wasn't invited to the party. And so, it's up to Dora, Kate, Emma and the viewers to get to La Bruja's castle and get back both Lucky and all of the costumes from the party, as well as show La Bruja that she really was invited after all.
